Introduction
Welcome to the European Cluster Observatory operated by the European Cluster Observatory (“the Observatory”) statistics, content management and download platform consisting of a web site, services, software applications and networks that allows for the authorised download and distribution of digital content over the internet (“the Observatory Platform”).
Eligibility The Observatory Platform is not available to persons under the age of majority in their jurisdiction or to any users previously suspended or removed from the Observatory Platform by the Observatory. By using the Observatory Platform, you represent that you meet the eligibility requirements.
Observatory Content
You are welcome to download Observatory’s statistical data for your own use and analysis, and you may publish it, but we request that you indicate the “European Cluster Observatory” as the source. You may not re-distribute the whole database or any major selections of data from it without written permission from the Observatory. The Observatory is intended for material related to clusters, regional competitiveness, innovation and related topics. You may not upload text or files (“User Content”) that is illegal, offensive, pornographic, invasive of another’s privacy, harassing, threatening, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. You may not make unsolicited offers, advertisements, or proposals to other users of the Observatory Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or other solicitation material, bulk mailing of commercial advertising, chain mail, informational announcements, charity requests, and petitions for signatures. By uploading User Content to the Observatory Platform, you affirm that you are the creator and owner of or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, releases and permissions to use and to authorise the Observatory and the Observatory’s users to use your User Content. Please note that the Observatory will terminate any user’s access to the Observatory if that user is found to engage in infringing activity violations. User Content is uploaded at your own risk. The Observatory does not guarantee that there will be no unauthorised copying or distribution of User Content nor will the Observatory be liable for any unauthorised copying or usage of the User Content.
Content Disclaimer
The Observatory provides own statistics and other data produced by us, and User Content uploaded by our users. Please note that although we take care to assemble the best possible data, the Observatory does not take responsibility for the accuracy or usefulness of the content we provide, and we reserve the right to update the data without prior notification.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will the Observatory be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, reliance or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to these terms or that result from your use or your inability to use the materials (including statistics and User Content) on the Observatory Platform.
